Community Relations

The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) understands the importance of being involved in our community. To achieve this, an active role has been taken by supporting Prince George’s various community initiatives and charity programs.

The PGAA is committed to cultivating and promoting the Airport's role and image within the community by:

• Focusing information campaigns regionally
• Continuing to develop expertise on northern transportation issues
• Strengthening media relationships
• Promoting school programs
• Continuing tradeshows regionally and locally

 

Making a Difference

Every summer, the Prince George Airport Authority hosts their annual Golf Tournament open to all stakeholders, associates, partners, and friends.

All proceeds from prize draws and other activities conducted at the tourament are donated to various charities.

Finally, through Operation Red Nose, Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, and the Festival of Trees, the PGAA continues to give back to the community that serves them.

 

Airport Tours

The Prince George Airport offers tours to school groups and the general public. Visits last approximately 30 minutes and include a wide range of activities.
